The Main purpose of the position is to Lead, Manage, execute and ensure daily accounts activities of the business. This includes to maintain up-to-date accounting system and data in the company.

Responsibilities

Ensure the maintaining record of vouchers related to daily transactions.
Arranging meeting with team to discuss on day plan and executing daily activities to team.
Set Targets for Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable.
Correspond with overseas service providers, Shipping Lines etc.
Correspond with national / international, partners, customers, service providers including transporter, Shipping Lines.
Reconcile accounts with national / international; partners, customers and service providers on regular basis.
Verifying vouchers posted by sub ordinates and close the day book and job files on daily basis.
Ensure timely settlement of Accounts Payables and timely collection from Accounts Receivables.
Assist Auditors during the audit work.
Meeting deadline to close quarter end and Year-end closure process.
Ensuring statements of accounts are reconciled with all the Customers and Service Providers on regular basis
Ensuring Reconciliation of Bank Accounts are done on weekly basis & Back up of other sub ordinates in their absence

Minimum Requirement

Bachelor’s degree in Management/Business with fiancé specialization from recognized university with at least 5 years’ work experience OR Master’s degree with at least 3 years work experience in the related field (preferable in shipping liner)
Excellent written and verbal communication skills – both English & Nepali.
Ability to correspond effectively with national and international, customers, partners, service providers.
Having an in-depth knowledge of shipping, logistics, freight forwarding and transport management.
Excellent interpersonal skills, including the ability to quickly build rapport with both customers and suppliers.
Ability to manage time and work under pressure.
Demonstrate accountability and integrity
Should be familiar with forex and process of TT/DD/RTGS payment through banks.

• Sound Knowledge of Computer skills, Preferably on MS Office and reporting system.
