Manager

The main purpose of this position is to lead, manage and coordinate the activities of overall operations of the company; understand the business nature and market requirement and creates internal policies related to day to day operation of shipping and logistics.

Responsibilities

Monitors and executive day to day activities to team to ensure required logistics support are delivered to internal and external customers.
Provides smooth and efficient flow of work within a team
Identifying operation related issue to maximize efficiency in terms or time, cost and resources.
Preparing day to day to-do –list for the team and executing work efficiently and effectively.
Track and trace all in-transit shipments up to final delivery.
Reporting daily activities of department and highlighting issues that is considerably management’s concern.
Liaising with national / international Service Provider and partners.

Minimum Requirement

Bachelor’s degree in Management/Business Administration/Entrepreneurship or related field from recognized university with at least 5 years’ work experience OR Master’s degree with at least 3 years work experience in the related field (preferable in shipping liner)
Having an in-depth knowledge of customer relationship and dealing with their issues
Excellent written and verbal communication skills – both English & Nepali.
Superb interpersonal skills, including the ability to quickly build rapport with both customers and suppliers
Good knowledge of documentation and reporting
The ability to self-motivate and motivate a team
Experience working to and exceeding targets
Must possess two wheeler driving license

• Sound Knowledge of Computer skills, preferably on MS Office and reporting system.

• Capability of identifying strength and weakness of company as well identifying market opportunities and threats.
